Garlic Stuffed Woolly Rind



It’s time to start preparing for the biggest meal of the year! Allow us to present a super easy appetizer that will keep your guests happy while the turkey is in the oven. All you need is cheese, bread, garlic and wine. This recipe features Woolly Rind, a bloomy rind cheese made with a blend of cow and sheep milk that gets ooey and gooey after a little time spent in the oven.

  • one wheel of Woolly Rind
  • two to three garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • splash of dry white wine


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Make small slits in the top of the wheel of cheese and insert a slice of garlic into each one. Place in an oven safe ceramic dish. Pour a bit dry white wine on top before putting into the oven.

Bake until bubbly (about 15 minutes) and serve with bread.
