We’re so excited about the progress happening at our location in downtown Kansas City. Our vision is to expand our cheese-making capacity and, at the same time, bring our cheese closer to our customers. The new location will be a combination of a cheese-making facility, a retail store, and a restaurant called Green Dirt on Oak. The retail store will feature our cheeses and other cheese-related goods, focusing on local small-batch foods that pair well with cheese. The restaurant menu will feature products from our farm and other local farms. Our dining area includes windows to allow you to glimpse inside the cheese aging and packaging rooms to view where your cheese is made!

Right now, we’re working all-out to open as soon as possible. We want to wow you with a fantastic experience, so we’re focused on getting all the details right. If you’d like to be alerted when our reservations are open and get news about the restaurant, sign up for our newsletter here.

If you’re from Kansas City, you’ve likely heard the news that the new Royals Baseball Stadium proposal has renderings showing its structures right on top of our new location. We know many changes and challenges are coming before the Stadium project gets off the ground, so we’re not letting the stadium announcement slow us down.

We’re delighted to invest in Kansas City by bringing our farm to the Kansas City Crossroads neighborhood, and we hope to be here for years to come. We’re creating inspiring experiences for you and jobs that provide opportunities for our team to thrive, all while managing our animals humanely and protecting the ecology of our farm. The best way to keep Green Dirt on Oak as a force for good in our community is to open strong and build excitement and enthusiasm for our vision. This way, we’ll show you, the Royals, and our entire community the local goodness we bring to the city.

We’re grateful for your support and look forward to creating an experience so compelling that no one would think of putting a stadium on top of us!
