We’ve always loved working with our friends at City Barrel Brewery. Join us in welcoming them for a beer and cheese pairing class on the farm. City Barrel was founded by James Stutsman, Grant Waner and Joe Giammanco. It was through their mutual love of all things hoppy and sour that the three friends decided to take on this venture together. After brewing many beers together and obsessing about the beer industry, they decided there was a missing link in the Kansas City brewing scene. No one was focusing on long aged sours, crazy IPA’s and wild fermentation beers and creating a culinary experience. And so, City Barrel came to be.
The class will include five of City Barrel’s enticing and sometimes wacky beers paired with five of our cheeses. Guests will learn all about the world of beer and cheese and why we might even like the pairing more than cheese and wine (gasp!).
A note about COVID. We love you and we want you to stay healthy! So, we will be closely monitoring the rates of COVID in our area and the recommendations of the CDC and our local public health experts. If rates of hospitalization rise we may require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 24 hours of our events. You can be assured that all of our staff are vaccinated to protect ourselves and the especially vulnerable members of our community.
