Green Dirt Farm is ecstatic to host Chef Carlos Falcon of Jarocho for his second Farm Table Dinner appearance. Hailing from Veracruz, Mexico, Chef Falcon is changing the way Kansas City thinks about food. Carlos grew up 100 feet from the ocean catching crab and fish for his six siblings and his mother who cared for them all on her own. He has vivid memories of preparing delicious fresh ingredients with his mother starting at a very young age. Knowing this was his passion, he left Mexico to attend culinary school in New York. After culinary school, he made his way to the Midwest and settled in Kansas City bringing all of the flavors and skills his mother taught him in the kitchen with him. He opened Jarocho, a humble restaurant that seamlessly blends his classical French training and his childhood spent cooking with the freshest ingredients from the sea. Chef Carlos Falcon is truly thriving in the culinary world with two restaurant locations of his well known Jarocho and another in the works! We could not be more excited to have Chef Carlos Falcon here with us at Green Dirt Farm for a surely unique five-course meal that will thrill your taste buds!
Our Farm Table Dinners are unique, one of a kind, celebrations of the bounty of the seasons. Because the meals rely on ingredients that are sourced from what is fresh and seasonally available, the menus are not created until 1-2 weeks prior to the event. We know you will enjoy the surprise and delight offered by each meal, however we also understand that some individuals may have dietary restrictions. While we can’t guarantee that we can honor every request, we do promise to do our best. We will contact you one week prior to the event to determine if you have a special requirement with regard to ingredients. If you have additional questions about the dinners please see the FAQs about our Farm Table Dinner series or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
