Green Dirt Farm is ecstatic to host Chef Carlos Falcon of Jarocho for his first Farm Table Dinner appearance. Carlos Falcon, hailing from Veracruz, Mexico is changing the way Kansas City thinks about food. Carlos grew up 100 feet from the ocean catching crab and fish for his six siblings and his mother who cared for them all on her own. He has vivid memories of preparing delicious fresh ingredients with his mother starting at a very young age. Knowing this was his passion, he left Mexico to attend culinary school in New York. After culinary school, he made his way to the Midwest and settled in Kansas City bringing all of the flavors and skills his mother taught him in the kitchen with him. He opened Jarocho, a humble restaurant that seamlessly blends his classical French training and his childhood spent cooking with the freshest ingredients. Chef Carlos Falcon is truly thriving in the culinary world with two restaurant locations of his well known Jarocho and another in the works!
