Join us at our gorgeous events barn as Chef Michael Corvino of Corvino Supper Club & Tasting Room prepares an exclusive one-night-only, five-course meal featuring our lamb and award-winning cheeses! Michael Corvino, born in Walla Walla, Washington started working in kitchens his sophomore year of high school. Quickly realizing his passion, his culinary education began at the Marcus Whitman Hotel. Corvino spent over three years there learning how to source local produce, butcher, and design food pairings for the region’s exploding wine scene. Michael’s culinary journey has taken him to many unique locations from a French cafe, to the Ritz-Carlton’s flagship in Naples, Florida, and to the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Finally (and lucky for us!) Corvino arrived in Kansas City and has delighted and dazzled the city with his creativity and undeniable talent ever since. He took the reins The American Restaurant and immediately earned rave reviews for his artistic plates and imaginative tasting menus. The next year, Chef Corvino was named the general manager and along the way culinary magazines and the James Beard Foundation named him the Rising Star to Watch. He went on to continue introducing Kansas City to his technique and ingredient-driven cuisine, winning several accolades for this iconic restaurant. After his tenure at The American, he knew it was time to open his own restaurant and after exploring many other cities, decided there was nowhere else he would rather be than Kansas City. Michael and his wife Christina recently opened Corvino Supper Club & Tasting Room and it has rapidly become the restaurant this city can’t stop raving about! We are thrilled to have Michael join us at the farm this season for a truly memorable local food adventure!
