His wish is to not only excite, but to awaken your senses with flavors and smells, each with a unique story behind them. To understand food you must not only know it’s background, but the journey it took to get to your plate. Born and raised in Chicago’s very own Humboldt Park, gaining experience from his grandmother’s kitchen which would soon lead to his latest adventure as the chef for the Chicago Cubs. When he’s not in the clubhouse, Rick is on the move. Traveling all over the globe has given him an appreciation as well as an understanding of food, culture, and how to honor it appropriately when serving.
