Farm Table Dinner with Chef Joe Spiegal

Join us in welcoming back to the farm this season – Executive Sous Chef Joe Spiegal of Rye Leawood!  His passion for cooking started back when he was a child and would cook with his mother and his grandmother. His interest started there but would later be put into motion when he enrolled in Culinary School and was hooked on the first day. A native of Omaha, NE, he would attend Metropolitan Community College and receive a degree in Culinary Arts and Management. In 2009, Joe moved to Kansas City and has had the opportunity to work with some of KC’s best Chefs. Some of which included Michael Smith, Colby Garrelts, John Brogan, Andrew Longres, and many more.  Stop by Rye Leawood sometime to say hello and grab some of  Chef Keara Masson’s award winning pies!

*Green Dirt Farm dinners are one of a kind meals created around products made on our farm, (artisan cheese and humanely raised lamb meat) as well as other local seasonal small farm products.  Because of our unique focus on specific ingredients for each menu, we cannot guarantee menu adjustments or exceptions for dietary restrictions.
