Farm Table Dinner with Chef Pam Liberda

We are just thrilled to welcome Chef Pam Liberda of Waldo Thai back to the farm for her second Farm Table Dinner with us! Chef Liberda has wowed fans from all over the Kansas City area and beyond with her traditional Thai dishes and the restaurant has quickly become a staple in Waldo. This year she was named a James Beard semi-finalist for Best Chef:  Midwest!!

Chef Liberda was born in Lampang, Northern Thailand. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Mahidol University and migrated here in 1998. After falling in love with Teddy Liberda, the former owner of Thai Place Restaurant chain, she decided to give up her career and enter the culinary scene.

Pam took time to become a housewife and spent time raising her two daughters. Without formal training, Pam acquired her skills by watching and cooking homey dishes alongside her mother. Her passion for food led her to work at Company Kitchen at Cerner as the International Station Chef, providing meals for more than 500 patrons a day with her internationally inspired cuisine. Pam is now the Executive Chef at Waldo Thai, where the menu focuses on Pam’s home cook style traditional Northern Thai cuisine. Pam was voted “2021 Chef of the Year’ in Kansas City by Feast Magazine.

Because the meals rely on ingredients that are sourced from what is fresh and seasonally available, the menus are not created until 1-2 weeks prior to the event.

*Green Dirt Farm dinners are one of a kind meals created around products made on our farm, (artisan cheese and humanely raised lamb meat) as well as other local seasonal small farm products.  Because of our unique focus on specific ingredients for each menu, we cannot guarantee menu adjustments or exceptions for dietary restrictions. Requests or questions regarding dietary restrictions must be emailed and approved prior to purchase.*
