Intro to Cheesemaking Workshop

Ever wanted to learn about how milk is turned into that wonderful substance called cheese? Did you know that you can make certain cheeses in your own kitchen? Join us for a hands on, tasty adventure of learning the basics of home cheesemaking! We will explore the foundations of making cheese, while guiding the class through making a type of ricotta. We will be using ingredients available at any grocery store. We will finish by making some of the final product into cannoli for you to enjoy, and sending the rest home with each of you!

This class will be held in our cozy Creamery in Weston, MO. Your ticket includes a glass of wine or beer, some light snacks, the cannoli filled with the sweetened ricotta, and your portion of the ricotta to take home with you! Additional beverages, as well as menu items from our Creamery will be available for purchase.

Note – This class is held at our cafe in Weston, Green Dirt Farm Creamery, where we can keep you warm and comfy this time of year! Feel free to shop around the creamery before or after the workshop!
