Shipping Policy

Perishables are expensive to ship.

We’re sorry, and we wish it wasn’t so, but there it is. Please be aware that we must ship 2nd Day (or overnight in hot weather) to areas that are more than 800 miles away from us, to make sure your cheese gets to you safe and sound. But…that doesn’t mean your cheese will arrive 2 days after you ordered it…that’s because we only ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and sometimes, (if we’re not too busy making cheese) Wednesdays . This ensures that your cheese won’t sit in a warehouse over the weekend. Orders placed after noon on Tuesday will ship the following week, unless you choose overnight shipping and let us know in your order notes that you need to receive the cheese asap.

If you’d like us to ship your items a different week just put the date or week you’d like your items to ship in your order notes. Thank you!!

A note about delayed shipments and other shipping mishaps: If your shipment arrives warm or damaged we will replace it free of charge. Please note that we do not issue refunds for shipping mishaps or delays.

FedEx and UPS will not deliver to a PO box.

You can minimize your shipping costs and still support us by buying our non-perishable items. Or you can maximize your cheese to shipping cost by buying more cheese (we like that option!). In fact, if you spend just $150 we will ship your package free of shipping charge! Finally, here’s a hot tip to help with the high costs- every once in awhile we send a coupon to folks who have signed up for our newsletter. So, quick- sign up!
