Join us for our second dinner with The Town Company’s husband and wife team – Executive Chef Johnny Leach and Executive Pastry Chef Helen Jo Leach. Hooray for double the deliciousness!

Executive Chef Johnny Leach oversees multiple food and beverage outlets within Hotel Kansas City’s walls, including The Town Company (“Restaurant of the Year” – Kansas City Magazine) and Nighthawk (a cellar bar focused on fast-friendly service & nostalgic comfort food.)  He was named a James Beard Semi-Finalist for Outstanding Chef for 2023!

Johnny​ previously worked at esteemed New York restaurants including Town, Del Posto, and Momofuku, and collected accolades and unforgettable experiences, including an appearance on David Chang’s Netflix original series, “Ugly Delicious.” Drawing from his experience in the Pacific Northwest, his menus highlight hyper-seasonal ingredients from local farms. Committed to giving back to his community, Johnny’s​ involvement with No Kid Hungry and other charitable organizations connect his professional career and personal values.

Executive Pastry Chef Helen Jo Leach leads The Town Company’s dessert program, Hotel Kansas City’s Lobby Café, and events programs. Leach’s Midwestern-inspired approach to pastry incorporates native ingredients and experimentation with the restaurant’s centerpiece hearth, bringing her wealth of acumen, artistry, and excitement to The Town Company’s and Hotel Kansas City’s pastry programs. Helen’s talents opened doors to work at esteemed spots like Eleven Madison Park, and Del Posto – the restaurant where she met her husband. Later on, she assisted Christina Tosi in opening and building the Momofuku Milk Bar empire. After eight lively years in New York City, she moved to the Pacific Northwest, where her leadership shaped the dessert program at Le Pigeon in Portland, Oregon.

Our Farm Table Dinners are unique, one of a kind, celebrations of the bounty of the seasons. Because the meals rely on ingredients that are sourced from what is fresh and seasonally available, the menus are not created until 1-2 weeks prior to the event.

*Green Dirt Farm dinners are one of a kind meals created around products made on our farm, (artisan cheese and humanely raised lamb meat) as well as other local seasonal small farm products.  Because of our unique focus on specific ingredients for each menu, we cannot guarantee menu adjustments or exceptions for dietary restrictions. Requests or questions regarding dietary restrictions or NA beverages must be emailed and approved prior to purchase.*
